The need to combine a wide range of traffic management technologies is a key feature of the UTMC standard allowing effective management of traffic within an urban environment.
Clearview Traffic Solutions are UTMC compliant meaning that innovative products can be used to form part of a wider system, whilst simultaneously adding additional functionality and value outside of the UTMC solution.
The data collected by Golden River equipment may be integrated into a UTMC database to allow real time traffic management, additionally a more comprehensive dataset can be interrogated “offline” to provide answers to questions that were not even considered prior to data collection. This provides long term additional benefits to the road planning engineers as well as providing a solution to the initial challenges.
