Intuitive Interface

MCentre works "behind the scenes" collecting data from an unlimited range of outstations. Information is then transmitted to MCentre via a range of communication technologies including: dial-up, GSM and IP based (using Ethernet / GPRS) to provide a high-capacity, secure and permanently live connection. Data is made available to authorised operatives via log-in and can be displayed as ‘webpage’s offering real time data or historical analysis.

MCentre ensures users are updated about any potential problems or warnings: loop failures, low battery problems etc. These can be reported by email or text message to anyone that the customer wishes to keep informed.

MCentre has been designed from the ground up to be secure, scalable, feature rich and yet simple to use and manage. The modular design allows for future expansion of features and capabilities. Built around some of the latest Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server etc) customers can be assured of ongoing support and updates.

Migration Platform

Due to the wide range of communication technologies supported, MCentre is an ideal platform to enable users to migrate from a legacy environment based on manual or dial up data collection, towards an "always on", real-time connected environment supplying both historic and real time traffic data to its users.

MCentre is available in three different varieties to suit the various different modes of deployment:

  • MCentre Platform
This is the fully featured MCentre that can be deployed within a customers own IT environment and is available as a capital based purchase. By managing the platform themselves, customers can build a comprehensive solution for all their users, but all contained within their own IT infrastructure and can be configured to comply with all of the local security protocols etc. This solution is scalable from one out-station upwards (dependant on the IT infrastructure).
  • MCentre Hosted
This is a hosted version of the full scale MCentre platform. By offering this as a hosted solution, Clearview Traffic can provide customers with the full range of features and functionality without the capital cost and added complexity of implementing all of the required IT technologies themselves and is ideal for an organisation that prefers to outsource these complex solutions. MCentre Hosted is scalable from one out-station upwards.
  • MCentre Lite
This is a scaled down version of the MCentre that can be used as a simple stand-alone communications tool. It can be installed on a standard PC, and is suitable for a small to medium number of outstations. This is an ideal first step when migrating a network of older type outstations (e.g. M660) towards a real time environment. By utilising the MCentre Lite product, users can be sure that when they need to migrate further into a fully connected, real time, fully scalable solution, the final migration will be a simple as possible.
