About Us
Clearview Traffic has evolved from Astucia (UK) Limited which has over the last two years grown though the acquisition of Golden River Traffic an established traffic information management company and Count On Us Limited which specialises in the collection of traffic survey data.
The growth of the group is a strong signal of its position as a significant player in the Intelligent Transport Systems market, offering innovative solutions to the needs of our customers now and in the future. With that in mind the evolution of the group to become Clearview Traffic is a natural step to demonstrate the strength of the group as a whole and the enhanced way in which it reacts to the markets that it serves.
The principal shareholder in Clearview Traffic is John Madejski OBE DL who is better known for his ownership of Reading Football Club and more recently for his charitable work in the arts field supporting the Royal Academy and the V&A museum. John invested in Astucia in July 2003 when he acquired a controlling interest in the business. He made further investments in 2004 to fund the R&D program and has supported the acquisitions of both Golden River and Count On Us through rights issues.
Its vision is to reduce casualties and fatalities on roads throughout the world and to reduce congestion by safely increasing the capacity and effectiveness of road networks.
